What was the highlight of Hotel Las Cigüeñas
Safe convenient and comfortable budget hotel. Good value for money with a convenient location.
The location of the hotel is great - walking distance into the wonderful town of Trujillo and with easy access to main roads. The staff are friendly and helpful although very little English spoken. We had two evening meals there which were fine although showing the usual Spanish absence of vegetables (chips with everything). The room was adequate although the bathroom could do with some work.
We just had breakfast the once - it was not clear what we would get for the suggested 6 Euro price on the Booking.com site - we were charged around 18 Euros for two slices of toast, an orange juice and coffee each plus one apple. Hence we only had breakfast there once.
